David L. Pierce Art & History Center

In keeping with health protocols, masks for visitors and staff alike will be required everywhere in the building, regardless of vaccination status, as well as social distancing of 6 feet.   

Owned and maintained by the City of Aurora, the Center contains the main offices and exhibition galleries of the Historical Society, the Aurora Public Art Commission, and the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall and Museum.  The Center is also the home to the Aurora Shop gift shop.

Regular Admission is FREE! However, donations are greatly appreciated.

The David L. Pierce Art & History Center is located at 20 East Downer Place (Downtown Aurora on Stolp Island).
