The Aurora Historical Society is a private, non-profit institution that has been preserving Aurora’s history since 1906. We rely on gifts from people just like you to continue the work of giving the past a future. Donations are happily accepted for general operations, or they can be earmarked for more specific purposes such as the Parlor Restoration Fund or the 21st Century Museum Fund. If you have any questions, please call 630-906-0650 to speak with John Jaros, Executive Director of the Aurora Historical Society. |
Part of preserving the rich cultural heritage of Aurora is being a repository for items produced or used here in Aurora. Current holdings include items from every aspect of life in Aurora, from before the town was founded up to today. If you have something you would like to see in the museum’s collection, please call Jennifer Putzier, curator, at (630)-897-9029 for more information on how to donate! |
Volunteers are so important to running the Aurora Historical Society! There are many volunteer opportunities at the Aurora Historical Society, and we are always looking for new volunteers. Check out the current openings on our volunteers page! |
